BARGAIN BOOK SALES ON CALENDAR AT LOCAL LIBRARIES

Sylvan Oaks Library has its bargain book sale slated for Saturday, February 3rd. Open from 11:30 to 3:30, the sale offers all types of books…best sellers, kids books, paperbacks, etc. Admission is free and all proceeds benefit the library. Sylvan Oaks is located in Citrus Heights at 6700 Auburn Blvd., at Dewey/Van Maren. Call (916) 729-6991 for more details.
Another branch of the Sacramento Public Library system also has its bargain book sale this weekend. Drop by the Fair Oaks Library at 11601 Fair Oaks Blvd. (by Fair Oaks Park just south of Madison Ave.) on Sunday, Feb. 4th, from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. The sale continues on Feb. 5th, from 2:30-6:30 p.m. Hosted by Friends of the Fair Oaks Library, the sale offers “gently-used” books at nominal prices: kids books, sci-fi novels, recent best-sellers, paperbacks, videos, CDs and more.
