FIRE SAFETY FAIR AT SUNRISE MALL
Full Description:
In conjunction with the boot drive, on Saturday, Feb. 17, the parking lot at Sunrise Mall will be the site of a Fire Demonstration and Safety Information Fair hosted by the Firefighters Burn Institute from 11 a.m.-2 p.m., weather permitting. Special events include firefighter demonstrations, rope descents from a fire truck, a Reach helicopter landing, firefighters performing vehicle extrications, displays of vintage firefighting equipment, the Shriners clowns, mascots, face painting and much more. Free giveaways include smoke detectors and safety literature. T-shirts, sweatshirts, pins, hats and charms will be available for purchase, but admission is free. All proceeds will benefit the Firefighters Burn Institute.
