TRICK OR TREAT...HAVE A SAFE HALLOWEEN!

Parents and kids both can enjoy a safe and exciting Halloween, thanks to local trick or treat events being sponsored by businesses and churches in our area.

On the night of The Great Pumpkin, get the kids (and yourself) into your costumes and hurry down to Sunrise Mall for one of Citrus Heights' most popular Halloween events. Join the "Monsters at the Mall" for FREE trick-or-treating, crafts, and games. Sponsored by Sunrise Parks & Recreation District and Sunrise Mall, the event runs from 5-7 p.m. Mix 96 radio station will also be on hand to liven up this All Hallows Eve!

In Fair Oaks, the local Chamber of Commerce features its 22nd annual "Safe Halloween" trick-or-treating event, for ages 12 and younger. This event runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Oct. 31, at more than 300 businesses throughout Fair Oaks. Participants must be accompanied by an adult and register the day of the event. Registration stations will be at the Fair Oaks Chamber of Commerce, 10224 Fair Oaks Blvd., the Fair Oaks Recreation and Park District, 4150 Temescal St., Raley's Supermarkets at 4840 San Juan Ave. and 8870 Madison Ave., Trader Joe's, 5309 Sunrise Blvd., and Steve's Pizza, 11711 Fair Oaks Blvd. For details, call (916) 967-2903.
