CRAFT FAIRE CORNER

Holiday craft faires and bazaars are underway all over the area. Check these out.

SUNRISE COMMUNITY CHURCH offers its 16th annual "A FAIRE TO REMEMBER" this weekend. Over 40 local crafters fill the main auditorium which is decorated in true "Winter Wonderland" style with unique booths offering holiday decor and handcrafted gifts, jewelry, wood and ceremic creations, florals, stitchery, even homemade holiday goodies!
Admission to the event is FREE. Hours at 2-8 p.m. Friday, and 9a.m.-4p.m. on Saturday. The church is located at 7321 Greenback Lane in Fair Oaks. For info, call (916) 726-4642.

Down at the ORANGEVALE GRANGE HALL on Saturday, "Partifest 2007, A Craft and Holiday Faire" runs from 9a.m.-3p.m. Sponsored by the Orangevale Women's Club, this event offers crafts, jewelry, gift items, a bake sale and prize drawings which include a $100 gas and a $100 grocery card.

Proceeds from the fair benefit local agencies including the Children's Receiving Home of Sacramento, Twin Lakes Food Bank, the annual scholarship fund, and a Veterans retirement home.
