CAPITAL POPS ON STAGE IN HOLIDAY CONCERT
Full Description:
Get some great holiday spirit at the annual holiday concert by the CAPITOL POPS CONCERT BAND, a truly talented and all-volunteer performance group appearing Dec. 1 at 7:30 p.m. in the Rusch Park auditorium at 7801 Auburn Blvd. in Citrus Heights.
Christmas favorites and seasonal compositions will fill the air, under the able baton of Conductor Jerry Lopes. The FREE concert is sponsored by the City of Citrus Heights and Sunrise Parks & Recreation District. In addition to great music, the audience gets a chance to win various crafts handmade by band members, or a special poinsettia traditionally donated by Eisley Nursery of Auburn. (The drawing benefits the band’s scholarship program.) Smaller poinsettias that decorate the auditorium will also be on sale after the show. For details, call the conductor at (916) 967-1461.
