'TIS THE SEASON FOR CRAFT FAIRES!

Full Description:

St. John the Evangelist School’s 29th annual faire, “A Holiday Show of Hands”, runs this coming weekend. This hugely popular arts & crafts show runs from 5-9 p.m. on Friday (Nov.30) for $3.00 admission. Admission is free from 9a.m.-7p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 1st, and from 9a.m.-3p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 2nd.

The festive event features quality custom work by over 150 craftsmen and artists offering gift items, holiday décor, gourmet foods, art and more. Special features include a Fashion Pavilion and the Antique Cottage with antiques & collectibles. Every gift category imaginable will be found throughout the classrooms & auditorium at the school, which is located at 5701 Locust Avenue in Carmichael. For details, call (916) 481-8845, ext. 216.

Another Holiday Craft Fair gets underway this weekend at the Citrus Heights United Methodist Church. This arts & crafts fair, sponsored by the women’s ministry, runs from noon-4:30 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 30th, and from 9a.m.-4p.m. on Saturday.

In addition to holiday décor, this show features colorful quilts among the many homemade crafts available for purchase. The church is located at 7833 Highland Avenue in Citrus Heights. For details, call (916) 725-6363.
