All proceeds of the sale will be donated to the Citrus Heights Lions club for the U.C. Davis Health System Pediatric Trauma1 Unit. Support the Citrus Heights Lions in their efforts to raise money to benefit the U.C. Davis Medical Center Lions Pediatric Trauma 1 Unit - (part of the UCBMC Surgical Pavilion/Trauma Center Project) Here’s the problem. The current design of the ER has critically ill adults and children being treated in the same cramped areas. The UC Davis team of critical care physicians strongly believes a separate Pediatric Emergency Room area will increase the effectiveness of care, while also assuring the least amount of emotional trauma for children and their families.
